In Loving memory of Tina Wakefield b. Lansing, MI 1965

| A science graduate of University of Toronto, mother of 2 and an avid environmentalist. She is survived by her 2 sons, Kale and Thom, husband Barry, Mother Elizabeth Johnson and father Camille Johnson. She was devout in several of her beliefs and felt a strong sense of family. She celebrated each moment in life and cherished her two children. With out her here at our table a vacancy that shall never be replaced but always remembered. She grew up in Lansing and remained very good friends with her childhood companions. The family moved to Toronto in her early teens where she quickly became popular amongst her new friends excelling not only at academics but also athletics. |
Tina met Barry during their 4th year at U of T and married 3 years later. She continued her studies and received several awards and grants into her research on decomposition. Some of her work will soon be available on the U of T web site shortly and a hyperlink from this page will connect you. She was also an active member of the Toronto Environmentalist Society and contributing writer to the Green Times. Her passing away devastated all who knew her and thoughts of her are reassuring that she is still with us.
